Battery Energy Storage Systems

Volterra offers an array of turnkey Battery Energy Storage Systems available for installation. Our cell chemistry boasts 20,000 cycles, ensuring exceptional longevity and an impressively low rate of degradation over time. Collaborating closely with both utilities and private enterprises, we are actively engaged in enhancing energy distribution and facilitating savings throughout North America.

Large Scale Solar Developments

Volterra, in collaboration with a First Nation community and our co-developers, has successfully developed a 300MW solar project combined with a 1500MWh BESS facility in Manitoba. Looking ahead, we are excited to share that we have three projects of comparable magnitudes in our development pipeline for the upcoming three years.

Advanced Battery Manufacturing

Volterra will be opening an Advanced Battery Manufacturing Facility in 2024 where we will be producing our proprietary long-life, Lithium-ion battery. Lean manufacturing enabled by a unique business model lowers the capital cost to produce the most sustainable batteries in the world.
